Sausage and Egg Delights_Easy & Fun Breakfast Idea

Sometimes the most beautiful meals are the simplest ones. Eggs in a sausage heart are a cute and quick breakfast that brings smiles to the table especially for children, but also for adults who enjoy small culinary tricks.
They are perfect for weekend mornings, a romantic breakfast, or whenever you want to turn simple ingredients into something special.

Ingredients
eggs
sausages (Herta Frankfurters)
salt & pepper
vegeta (optional)

Method
Slice the sausage lengthwise, but not all the way through, leaving it attached at one end.
Carefully bend it into a heart shape and secure the ends with a toothpick.
Place the prepared heart on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Carefully crack an egg into the center.
Season with salt and add a little Vegeta if desired.
Bake in a preheated oven at 150°C (300°F) for about 5–8 minutes, depending on how runny you like the yolk.
Once baked, carefully remove the toothpick and serve warm.
Serving
Serve warm as a breakfast, appetizer or as a side dish for lunch with fresh salad, toasted bread or your favorite accompaniment.
Tips
If you prefer firmer egg whites, simply bake them a minute or two longer. These little hearts can also be prepared in a frying pan just cover with a lid so the egg cooks gently and evenly. For a richer flavor, sprinkle some grated cheese toward the end of baking and let it melt softly over the top. Instead of Vegeta, a simple seasoning of salt and freshly ground black pepper works beautifully.
For an even heartier version, whisk the eggs with finely chopped bacon before pouring the mixture into the sausage hearts, then bake as directed. Finish with freshly chopped parsley for a touch of freshness and a lovely pop of color.

Jaja u Srcu od Hrenovke
Nekada su najlepši obroci oni najjednostavniji. Jaja u srcu od hrenovke su simpatičan i brz doručak koji izmami osmeh za stolom posebno kod dece, ali i kod odraslih koji vole male kulinarske trikove.
Savršeni su za vikend jutra, romantičan doručak ili kada želite da obične sastojke pretvorite u nešto posebno.

Priprema
Hrenovku preseći po dužini, ali ne do kraja, ostaviti je spojenu na jednom kraju.
Pažljivo saviti u oblik srca i krajeve spojiti čačkalicom.
Tako pripremljeno srce staviti na pleh obložen papirom za pečenje.
U sredinu pažljivo razbiti jaje.
Posoliti i po želji dodati malo vegete.
Peći u prethodno zagrejanoj rerni na 150°C oko 5–8 minuta, u zavisnosti od željene teksture žumanca.
Kada je pečeno, pažljivo izvaditi čačkalicu i poslužiti toplo.
Posluživanje
Poslužiti toplo kao doručak, predjelo ili kao prilog ručku uz svežu salatu, tostirani hleb ili po sopstvenom izboru.
Saveti
Ukoliko se želi čvršće belanjce, peći minut dva duže. Ova mala srca mogu se pripremiti i na tiganju potrebno je samo poklopiti kako bi se jaje lagano i ravnomerno ispeklo. Za bogatiji ukus, pred kraj pečenja posuti malo rendanog sira i ostaviti da se nežno otopi. Umesto vegete, dovoljno je začiniti solju i sveže mlevenim biberom.
Za zasitniju varijantu, jaja umutiti sa sitno seckanom slaninom pre nego što se smesa ulije u srca od hrenovke, pa peći prema uputstvu. Na kraju posuti sveže seckanim peršunom za notu svežine i lepu završnicu na tanjiru.
