Healthy Energy Bites / Zdrave Energetske Kuglice

All you need to do is throw all of the ingredients into a food processor, blend, form into small balls, and enjoy these perfect no-bake snack!



Ingredients


300 g Medjool dates

100 g sultanas

1/2 cup rolled oats

1/2 cup muesli, I used a mix of berries & cherries

1/2 cup finely shredded coconut + (extra 4 tbsp for coating the balls)

2 tbsp chia seeds

1 lemon, zest

2 tbsp lemon juice

1 tbsp vanilla bean extract

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

pinch of sea salt



Method


1. Add the Medjool dates to a food processor and pulse a few times until chopped.

Put the rest of the ingredients in and switch on for a couple more seconds, or until all the ingredients are well incorporated.


2. Take a teaspoon of the mixture and roll between the palm of your hands into a ball. Place the coconut in a shallow bowl and use it to coat the bites all over.


Tip


Muesli is usually eaten with milk, so using it in this recipe will give it a bit of crunch due to its dryness. To avoid this, you can soak it in a little bit of water (together with chia, if you like) before adding it to the food processor. Just make sure to squeeze out the excess water!



Zdrave Energetske Kuglice

Sve što trebate je da ubacite sve sastojke u procesor za hranu, koji ih isecka, sjedini, napravite male kuglice i uživate! Savršen su međuobrok bez pečenja!




Sastojci


300 g datulja Medjool

100 g groždica

1/2 šolje zobenih pahuljica

1/2 šolje muesli (bobica i trešanja)

1/2 šoljice kokosa + (dodatnih 4 kašika za valjanje kuglica)

2 kašike chia sjemenki

1 limun, korica

2 kašike limunovog soka

1 kašika vanilia ekstrakta

1/2 kašikice mljevenog cimeta

prstohvat morske soli


Priprema


1. Dodajte urme u procesor za hranu i pulsirajte nekoliko puta dok se ne isjeckaju.

Stavite sve ostale sastojaka i uključite još nekoliko sekundi ili dok se svi sastojci dobro ne sjedine.


2. Uzmite kašikicu smese, oblikovati je u kuglicu, te uvaljati u kokos.


Savet


Muesli se obično jede s mlekom, pa će u ovom receptu biti malo hrskavosti zbog suhoće. Da biste to izbegli, namočiti ih u malo vode prije nego što ga spojite sa ostalim sastojcima, tu možete dodati i chiu. Iscedite višak vode pre nego pomešate sve zajedno.
