Šape od kokosa / Coconut cookies

Mmm predivne mirisne sape, jos ako volite kokos na pravom ste mestu



Potrebno

2 jaja

150 prah secera

1 vrecica vanilin secera

250 g maslaca

100 g kokosa

500 g brasna

1 mala kasika praska za pecivo


1. Jaja sobne temperature mutiti mikserom, postepeno dodavati prah secer i vaniliju. Kad se fino sjedini dodati omeksali maslac. Tome dodati, kokos, brasno sa praskom za pecivo i sve zajedno zamesiti.






2. Zamotati u prozirnu foliju i staviti u frizider preko noci. Mogu se peci i nakon par sati, tjesto izvaditi iz frizidera da odstoji 30ak minuta. Tjesto je mnogo fino za raditi ali je potrebno da neko vreme odstoji na fladnom.


3. Kalupe za sape dobro nauljiti (mozete ih i pobrasniti) te ih puniti, pa peci u predhodno zagrijanoj rerni na 170C 10-ak* minuta. Ostaviti u kalupima minut-dva pa ih izvaditi na zicu da se ohlade.



4. Pre sluzenja posuti ih sa prah secerom zamirisanim vanilom i skuvati kaficu ;)


Savet*


Moji kalupi su u raznim velicinama, na jedan pleh stavim one manje i njih pecem oko 10 minuta, a vece ostavim jos 2-3 minute. Sapice su gotove kad pocnu blago rumeniti sa strana ali trebaju ostati svetle. Od ove kolicine dobije se oko 70 sapica.

2 eggs

150 g icing sugar

1 tsp vanilla sugar

250 g unsalted butter

100 g desiccated coconut

500 g plain flour

1 tsp baking powder


Method

1. Beat the eggs and sugar in a large bowl with an electric mixer until combined, then add butter. Stir in the coconut, then sifted flour and baking powder. 2. Cover the dough in cling film, leave to cool in the fridge for 30 minutes or overnight. Bring the dough back to room temperature before filling the moulds. 3. Preheat the oven to 170 C. Grease the moulds with sunflower oil spray and take a teaspoon of dough to fill each mould. 4. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until browning on the side whilst still mostly pale. Allow to cool in the moulds for a couple of minutes, then transfer onto a cooling rack and leave to further cool. Dust with extra icing sugar before serving.
