Šape od Rogača /Carob Cookies

Predivne prhke sapice!


Sastojci


250 g brasna

75 g secera

1 vrecica vanilin secera

100 g mljevenog rogaca

1 m.k praska za pecivo

125 g masti

1 jaje

korica 1-og limuna


Priprema


1. U prosijano brasno dodati obe vrste secera, rogac, prasak za pecivo, mast, jaje, narendanu limunovu koricu i zamesiti glatko tjesto.


2. Kalupe za sape dobro namastiti i pobrasniti. Otkidati po malo tjesta i lagano utisnuti u kalup, peci u predhodno zagrijanoj rerni na 160°C (fan)10 minuta. Jos vruce vaditi iz kalupa i valjati u prah secer u koji smo stavili kesicu vanilin secera. Staviti u limene kutije do sluzenja. I ove sapice sto duze stoje, finije su.




Carob Cookies

Fantastic when dusted with vanilla sugar

Ingredients


250 g plain flour

1 tsp baking powder

75 g caster sugar

10 g vanilla sugar

100 ground carob

125 g lard (or butter)

1 medium egg

1 lemon


Method

1. Sift the flour and baking powder into a large mixing bowl and add the sugars, carob, lard, egg and lemon zest. Mix into a soft dough. 2. Preheat the oven to 160°C (fan). Grease the moulds with sunflower oil spray and take a teaspoon of dough to fill each mould. 3. Bake for 10 minutes. While they're still hot, roll them in icing sugar carefully. They can be kept in an airtight container for around 10 days.
